Get Closer with Stars and Icons at i-City Red Carpet Wax Museum

When it comes to behavior, you can’t tell apart our Air Asia bloggers group with the rest of the little kids who were also touring the Red Carpet Wax Museum in i-City Shah Alam. Nope you can’t unless you look hard at our (old, nye!) faces doing those crazy, wacky antics lol. We certainly amused not only ourselves but also some of the other visitors at the Red Carpet who witness our quirkiness. Weeeeeee heheh.

For a sampler, this kid was looking at what I was doing; you are supposed to pose ‘driving’ the car not have a smirk on your face while you reach out for something invisible on the floor.

Sorry kid for puzzling you hehe!  😀

The Red Carpet Wax Museum brought out the inner child in us as we explore their 100 wax exhibits of life-like legends, political leaders, famous stars, sport icons, music idols, Guinness world-record holders and more.

Unlike traditional museums, you can touch the displays and exhibits!

There are no cordon ropes to make you stay put. It’s also interactive, if you feel like embracing the stars do it, you can even kiss their cheek! Want to act out your karate moves fantasy, no one will stop you. There are no stuffy museum attendants ; the museum officers will even encourage you to pose with the wax figures on the Red Carpet and they will tell you the names of those you are not familiar with. Put simply, this museum is cool and fabulous!

Movie celebrity follower? Don’t miss going to war with Ramboo, or do faces with Mr Bean, or be chummy with Audrey Hepburn and John Travolta. You can even be the “third person” that breaks The Smith’s Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. There are too many of these megastars that you feel like you are on the Oscar’s.

World famous personalities also graces i-City’s Red Carpet, take your time as you pose beside Pope John Paul, Dalai Lama, Mother Theresa, Nelson Mandela, Queen Elizabeth, also Napoleon Bonapart!

For Music lovers, The King of Pop awaits you, also Psy, Shakira, Pavarotti and more! Geek? Ahhh you will probably dig a photo snap with Albert Einstein and Bill Gates.

There are 6 thematic zones that you can explore to your heart’s content. If you are looking for that next best selfie, take a snap with your favorite wax figure. =)

Lastly, there’s a surprise waiting for guests at the restroom, nope I won’t tell what it is hehe.

Thank You Red Carpet Museum for the All-Star Experience!

Our group spent so much time on the Red Carpet of i-City that we only had little time to explore the Trick Art Museum and the Snowalk and we totally missed their House of Horror. But it’s okay, our incessant laughs and crazy antics during the tour and the pictures we’ve taken, the memories of a fun time with some of the coolest travel bloggers of the Philippines is one awesome experience!

Our trip to i-City Shah Alam Red Carpet Wax Museum in Sengalor was seredenpitious too. Why? Days after our visit to this museum three of those famous celebrities and personalities we’ve taken pictures with were on the news. First, there was Kobe Bryant coming out of injury to play ball again for the Lakers, next there was the successful auction of Bruce Lee’s famous Game of Death jumpsuit costume which fetched a staggering amount of $100,000!!! On primetime news was also the passing of one of the world’s most famous symbol of peace, former South African President Nelson Mandela. Instead of being sad, the world celebrates his life and his legacy will forever live on.

These news events would have been like any other news from all corners of the world, but because our trip to the Red Carpet Wax Museum was still fresh on my mind, I felt a keener interest and am thankful that I got to see their life-like wax replicas with the rest of those world famous personalities and celebrities housed in the museum.

If you are visiting Malaysia soon, make the i-City Theme Park part of your itinerary. Please check i-City booking website for entrance ticket and tour fees. Get there early morning so you have all day and night to explore all that this theme park has to offer.
