Malacanang Declared 2015 Regular and Special Holidays

Please check below for the list of  Regular and Special Holidays for 2015. This is release by the Office of the President and declared by  virtue of Proclamation No. 831, s. 2014, unless otherwise specified:

JANUARY 2015 HOLIDAYS

January 1, 2015, Thursday – New Year’s Day (Regular holiday)



January 2, 2015, Friday – Additional special non-working day (Special non-working day)

ADDITIONAL Special Holiday for January for the National Capital Region (NCR) only, under Proclamation No. 936:  In view of the visit of  Pope Francis, the dates  January 15, 16 and 19, 2015, are declared as a special (non-working) days in the National Capital Region (NCR).

FEBRUARY 2015 HOLIDAYS

February 19, 2015, Thursday – Chinese New Year (Special non-working day)

February 25, 2015, Wednesday – EDSA Revolution anniversary (Special holiday)   –  This is only for students. Public and Private employees will still have work during the People Power Revolution anniversary.

NO HOLIDAY FOR MARCH 2015

APRIL 2015 HOLIDAYS

April 2, 2015, Thursday – Maundy Thursday (Regular holiday)

April 3, 2015, Friday – Good Friday (Regular holiday)

April 4, 2015, Saturday – Black Saturday (Special non-working day)

April 9, 2015, Thursday – Araw ng Kagitingan (Regular holiday)

MAY 2015 HOLIDAY

May 1, 2015, Friday – Labor Day (Regular holiday)

JUNE 2015 HOLIDAY

June 12, 2015, Friday – Independence Day (Regular holiday)

 JULY 2015 HOLIDAY

July 17,2015 FRIDAY has been declared by Malacanang, Office of the President as National Holiday in observance of the Eid’l Fitr, the Feast of Ramadhan. This declaration is under Proclamation No. 1070.

 AUGUST 2015 HOLIDAYS

August 21, 2015, Friday – Ninoy Aquino Day (Special non-working day)

August 31, 2015, last Monday of August – National Heroes Day (Regular holiday)

 SEPTEMBER 2015 HOLIDAYS

September 25, 2015, Friday – Eid’l Adha The Feast of Sacrifice

 NO HOLIDAY FOR OCTOBER 2015

NOVEMBER 2015 HOLIDAYS

November 1, 2015, Sunday – All Saints Day (Special non-working day)

November 30, 2015, Monday – Bonifacio Day (Regular holiday)

**FOR NCR ONLY – November 18 (Wednesday) and 19 (Thursday) are special (non-working) days in the National Capital Region, in light of the#APEC2015 Economic Leaders’ Meeting (AELM) scheduled on those days.

 DECEMBER 2015 HOLIDAYS

December 24, 2015, Thursday – Additional special non-working day (Special non-working day)

December 25, 2015, Friday – Christmas Day (Regular holiday)

December 30, 2015, Wednesday – Rizal Day (Regular holiday)

December 31, 2015, Thursday – Last day of the year (Special non-working day)

2015 LONG WEEKENDS LIST!!!

January 1 to 4 – 4 days Thursday to Sunday

April 2 to 5 – 4 days Thursday to Sunday

May 1 to June 3 – 3 days Friday to Sunday

June 12 to 14 – 3 days Friday to Sunday

ADDITIONAL Long Weekend for Eid’l Fit’r: July 17 to 19 – 3 days Friday to Sunday

August 21 to 23 – 3 days Friday to Sunday

August 29 to 31 – 3 days Saturday to Monday

ADDITIONAL Long Weekend for Eid’l Adha: September 25 to 27 – 3 days Friday to Sunday

November 28 t0 30 – 3 days Saturday to Monday

December 24 to 27 – 4 days Thursday to Sunday

Another tip: budget airlines usually have special promo like 2015 piso fare, 2016 piso fare and more during these red marked days. Again, book early and have a good internet connection to avail of these special airline tickets. =)
