It’s my second morning here in Liliw and for two days in a row, I’ve woken up early. Right now it’s 6 AM, I usually wake up in Cebu at 8:30 AM or later. Lol. =)
The town comes alive at an early hour. The mamang magpuputo just passed the side of our house, putt, putt, putt. errrr I don’t know the sound name that mamang magpuputo makes hahaha. Down below on the adjacent house to ours there is a pile of tree branch cuttings, probably a remnant of Typhoon Glenda last July.
The wind here is chilly, feels like December that I had to put another blouse on top of my duster. In Cebu you’d find me in my sleeveless blouse and still feel humid even with the electric fan blasting at dial 2 direct on my back.
Our neighbor’s radio plays ‘I’ll be loving you eternally’, a very old song. It’s not even a Sunday hahaha. =)
Birds. One little bird hops on the cable wires, chirping and chirping. There are two balinsasayaw on top of our neighbor’s roof, they’ve been there for ages and has not move yet. Sets of two, three, four, five birds flies in tandem. What makes the view complete are the cotton-like clouds and Mt Banahaw on the distance, looking over the town.
A Town Wakes Up!
Umaambon ngayon ngayon lang! D I love rains and I am loving it even more right now that I am blogging outside on the terrace looking at rain drops and hearing the gentle sound as the drops fall softly on the roofs and ground.
This is it pancit! I am officially living and residing in the province, in the highlands. I’ll miss the sea of Mactan and Cebu but I look forward to this new adventure with my husband.
Liliw will be our home, I won’t say permanently because you never know how the future will reveal itself. But for now I am pump-up! Titus and I have plans – one of them is to tour Luzon Island taking short day trips as much as our finances and time allows. There is so much to explore here in Laguna, in South Luzon and Bicol to the south and Central and North Luzon. We’d probably take another trip to Baguio and Sagada too. 🙂 The other plan is to bike through the neighboring towns. Maybe I finally can be fit especially if we nailed down our second plan. Hehehe. My body is groaning thinking about pedaling on steep, curves upon curvy roads haha but I welcome all possibilities.
Thank You God for this new journey!

Cille Anne says
Hi J&D, thank you for the kind words 🙂
Err… the passport on Mandaue guide is now obsolete. Passport renewal is now done by appointment system, except for minors, seniors, pwds, and pregnant individuals. No more midnight/dawn queue on Pacific Mall, thank goodness! hehe
