LAPU-LAPU CITY: Another Tarpaulin Bites The Dust

If there is something that I am proud of my city government i.e. Lapu-Lapu City  (LLC) is that our general services department (GSD) is really serious about cleaning the city especially along the national highway as compared to other Metro Cebu cities.

Every morning I can see a number of ladies in their green sweatshirts sweeping the streets without fail, rain or shine. This is true in the national highway; I am not sure about the inner barangay roads though heheh.

I veered away from my usual topic with this post but i have to write it  because finally just a few minutes ago the business tarpaulins of a certain resort in Mactan were finally taken down by the city GSD nyahaha. The tarpaulins were posted irresponsibly on the lampposts in the center aisle of MLQ highway yesterday. And I was counting the hours when those tarpaulins will be taken down hehehhe. Good thing the GSD didn’t disappoint me ^_^

So here is the lesson: Don’t put up unauthorized tarpaulins, banners or posters especially along Lapu-Lapu City’s highway be it lampposts, walls or trees for it will be taken down sooner than you expected. Sayang lang ang pera tsong!

Kudos to the men and women of LLC GSD!
