One of our favorite hotels with affordable room rates is the Red Planet. This chain of hotel used to be called Tune Hotel. So if your taxi driver is not familiar with Red Planet, just tell them that this is the former Tune Hotel, and just give them the branch name.
So far, we have stayed in Red Planet Angeles City, Aseana City, and the one in Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). This will be a hotel review of Red Planet Aseana.
We’ve booked there last December 2015 for an overnight stay. We used Red Planet’s booking app to reserved and pay for our hotel room accommodation.
We got our room at the low price of P2,043, this is a double bed and good for two pax. Red Planet room rate varies depending on demand and location.
The usual rate we’ve seen for Aseana last December was P2,200+, this P2,043 was the lowest one we’ve chanced upon when we browsed through different dates.
Check the 2018 rates of the Aseana Branch of Red Planet.
*Other Red Planet hotels can be booked as low as P1000 like the price we paid when we booked their Angeles City branch last year July.
Hotel Location Advantage
This hotel is located in Bradco Avenue, Aseana City, which makes Mall of Asia (MOA), SNR Pasay really near, as well as Baclaran, and the NAIA airports – Terminal 1, 2, 3, NAIA.
Although there are no jeepneys that passes in front of this hotel, you can walk a short distance to the highway where you can hail jeepneys. Taxis passes by this hotel.
Twin and Doubles beds are available for booking. They have quality 5 star beds, and really good pillows.
Cable TV available programs is varied.
Hair dryer is available and toiletries like soap, shampoo. No toothbrush/toothpaste.
Our room’s air-conditioning system or A/C was weird during our stay. We’ve set the temperature to the lowest setting possible at 19 deg Celcius; on the first few hours the room was cold, but after that the room felt a bit humid. We’ve checked if the A/C is turn on as well as the status of the timer, things checked alright except that the cooling is not as cool as we want it to be. To be fair, the A/C was working at full blast when we stayed in Red Planet Angeles City so I don’t know if this is just an isolated incident.
By the way, the room rate does not include breakfast. You can have your breakfast in the restaurants nearby Red Planet Aseana hotel. You have options like Jollibee, Pizza Hut, Oriental Plate, etc. There is also a 7 Eleven nearby for quick bites and emergency buys.
Or you can have your food delivered straight to your hotel room by ordering from Red Planet Aseana’s Café 1700 on the ground floor. This is a 24 hours room service that offers dishes like Korean, Filipino, pasta, sandwiches, as well as coffee and other beverages. *There is a P50 delivery charge and packaging.

Book ahead and better book online to get a room confirmation right away.
December 2014 we went there straight from the airport, to be turned away because they were fully-booked. So last December 2015 – we made sure to book ahead our Red Planet Aseana room and pay easily using my atm debit card via online booking. You can also use your credit card to pay for your hotel booking in Manila.
If you will book I suggest to use the official booking app or website of Red Planet Or you may also check for rates on Red Planet Aseana via Agoda and book therein.

Another spot I’d recommend is Admiral Bay Suites. It’s relatively near the airport, not a hotel though. Though it may be on the luxurious side, the amenities available are quite superb.
Not to say that it’s the best, just consider it as an option if you want a luxury condo to stay in
Here’s their website if you wanna inquire more, fyi, they got a chat support ready when you visit

Hope this helps (I’m merely suggesting)
