Hotel Review: Eurotel Hotel Makati with Free Breakfast and Great Location

Where To Stay in Makati, There are affordable hotels in Manila, particularly in Makati with excellent location and one of them is Eurotel Hotel.

Me and my husband stayed here last December in a double bed room. Room rate comes with free buffet breakfast for 2. Location is strategic at the corner of Arnaiz St (former Pasay Road) and Chino Roces Ave.

Some of the nearest establishments are Don Bosco, Waltermart, Makati Cinema Square.

*We booked online via Agoda for a Standard Room at Eurotel and paid P2,100, using credit card.

HOTEL REVIEW Eurotel Makati

Advantages in staying in Eurotel Hotel Makati

Buffet breakfast is included with the room rate. The morning of our stay the buffet breakfast consists of fried danggit, egg sunny side up, scrambled egg, corned beef with potato cubes, pancit, chopseuy, garlic and steam rice, orange juice, coffee, toasted bread.

If you are doing online booking and reservation, check if the hotel rate comes with free breakfast or not. Some prefer to have one, while others prefer accommodation without breakfast. It’s up to you.

If you prefer to dine outside, there is a nearby Waltermart Makati with lots of food choices and restaurants like Jollibee, KFC, Chowking, Army Navy, Starbucks, Kublai Khan, Savory, among many others. Amici is also walking distance from Eurotel Makati for those who love pizza, pasta, gelato.

Eurotel Hotel Makati is also one ride to Edsa, Alphaland, Edsa-MRT Station, and Ayala; and about 10 minutes to the central business district of Makati including giant malls Greenbelt and Glorietta.

Eurotel Makati Room Review

We booked a double bed; the bed’s foam is on the thin side, but again, this is not a five-star hotel so align your expectation.

The room we got has no window view.

Air-conditioning works okay with just a bit of humming sound; the aircon’s able to keep the room cold throughout the night.

Welcome freebie – 2 bottled water.

Toiletries included – a small soap bar and one shampoo sachet.

Wifi access is available but we did not have time to test this free service. The room also features Cable TV with limited channels and a mini-ref, as well as a safe.

There is in-room spa massage service if you want to avail of it for a certain fee.

Basement parking is available but limited slots only so I don’t know if you can call Eurotel ahead for parking reservation or it’s on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Major disappointment with Eurotel Hotel Makati – the sink faucet water spray is so thin, thinner than angel hair pasta, makes it difficult to brush your teeth and rinse. The toilet bowl flushing system on our room needs repair too – you have to adjust the flush control / handle in so many ways until finally you hit jackpot and the water tank fills up, ready for use. We almost requested another room but since we arrived dead-tired past midnight and will just stay the night, we forgo room change request, and just endured.

Why will you want to stay in this hotel?

I’d say its prime location in Makati and the complimentary breakfast. The room itself not so much because of the thin bed mattress and the issue witht the shower.

*Available room rates are around the same range as other budget hotels in the area.

Check here for more options for hotels in Makati, see their prices via Agoda.

Update 2018: We haven’t been back in Eurotel Makati, our top choices when it comes to budget hotels in Makati area are now Red Planet Amorsolo, Prince Plaza Condotel II, and RedDoors Premium Greenbelt Makati.

Check out the comparison and review of those 3 budget hotels in Makati area posted just this August 29, 2018.
