Syd The Kid
Today we finally meet my cousin’s family, they came for a visit from Florida , Ate Marife, Kuya Jay and Sydney aka Syd The Kid. Syd is a funny, happy kid and she talks non-stop (love that!) and runs the stairs like there’s no tomorrow haha! They brought with them games that the whole family can enjoy. In fact, kuya was so thoughtful that he brought me scratch cards all the way from the sunny state after having read my last post (everyone head’s up! This is the cue that you can send me scratch cards from wherever you are heheheh) I didn’t won but no problemos, this just elevated my scratch card adventure to a new level hehehe Thanks Kuya!
I made this post primarily to make fun of my brother Nicko. Yep make fun = embarrass = broadcast to the world = don’t let him forget his disgrace_ kind of a post *evil evil grin
You see Nicko prided himself to being the best in everything (hmm I think it runs in the family LOL ) anyway, so he volunteered to solve Syd’s kiddie puzzle. (there was like lots of games you can choose from) I start to time him and remind him every few minutes of the lapse time. He was grinning first, ‘this is easy’.. after awhile you can see his forehead in a frown … ten minutes passed… concentrate.. concentrate… having decided that he might think well if the board is on flat surface, he moved on the floor and transferred the board on the sofa … think, think….frown………shoulder slumped….. ‘I GIVE UP’.
heheheh
Now, now let this be a reminder to all to never underestimate the challenge of a kiddie mind game hehheh
Nicko did redeemed himself on another logic game (I forgot the name) by retaining just 2 pieces on the board which according to Syd is equal ‘pretty smart’ but just the same he failed to complete the 1st puzzle ( I did )
Nyahahaha….. So there Nicko 🙂
