BUS SCHEDULES: Victory Liner First Class Baguio / Cubao / Pasay Terminals

victory liner first class bus baguio, cubao, pasay schedules 2018

2017 Update: Fares and schedules of First Class deluxe bus service to and from Baguio of Victory Liner to / from Pasay or Cubao terminal.

This August 2017 we climbed up to Baguio via Genesis Joy Bus Deluxe from Cubao. On the return trip, we rode a VBL first class bus. Check Joy Bus schedules.

Travel time going from Manila to Baguio via JoyBus was only around five hours. We returned to Manila on a Tuesday onboard Victory Liner First Class bus 10:10 AM schedule; we arrived in SM North area before 3 PM. Both bus companies used TPLEX, direct and no stop-over.

The Joy Bus was not full going to Baguio, the same way that the Victory Liner bus from Baguio to Cubao has vacant seats. This is no surprise because right now it’s off-season in Baguio, less tourists going up for getaways in the highlands.

During peak season, I strongly advise you to secure your tickets way ahead, like a week ahead of schedule if you are going to Baguio during the summer, holidays, and long weekends. The queue for tickets can be very long during these times, we’ve experienced this in a previous visit and don’t want a repeat.

*You may also book and buy your bus tickets via the online booking website of VBL at victoryliner.com. However, please note that not all schedules are offered for online reservation and booking as of 2017. There is a P50 service fee for seat confirmation for online tickets.

If you plan to avail of Senior Citizen, PWDs, and student discount – you should buy your tickets over the counter in the terminals. No discounts for website booking.

Lastlt, if you’ve chosen online booking, after paying make sure to print the voucher and EXCHANGE this to a ticket in the designated bus terminal. Ideally you should be at the bus station at least 40 minutes before departure time.

VICTORY LINER RATES – FIRST CLASS BUS

Fare per person is P750 for the first-class deluxe buses, it is only P445 for regular standard aircon bus from Cubao and P455 from Pasay.

Advantages of Riding Victory Liner’s First Class Bus:

  • Shorter travel time – no stop-overs, via TPLEX.
  • Restroom inside the bus
  • De luxe seats and wider leg room versus standard buses
  • Max of 28 passenger load capacity
  • Bus stewardess on board

Other amenities include provision of one bottled water and cupcake.

Look for Off-Peak Season Discounts!

If you are going to Baguio during the off-peak season which is until October, and you plan on staying in Microtel by Wyndham hotel, call the hotel first if they offer 50% off the published room rates for those who can present Victory Liner tickets.

Do this before you book Microtel via online. The Microtel by Wyndham in Baguio is a franchise of Victory Liner, hence the discount for VBL bus passengers during the off-peak season.

We’ve been to Baguio thrice during the off-peak season and those times the different accommodations we got was always discounted. So ask the hotels if they offer discounts for this season. 🙂

Microtel landline number is (074) 619 3333. This strategically located in Upper Session Road and walking distance to SM Baguio. Or if you want to book right away, search for available rooms in this Baguio hotel.
