An early Christmas gift landed on our doors few days ago. Yeyyyy!!!

I’ve seen this product shared by a batchmate a couple of weeks back. One of my best friends also pm’ed me if I have seen it. It’s something close to our hearts, no wonder there is intense interest from among many of my friends who have seen it.

What is it? It’s a UP merch item. The UP Seal expertly crafted to become a logo wall clock. Just gazing at the dear old seal brings back lots of memories from when we were young.

I graduated from UP high school and UP too for college. The University of the Philippines’ impact in my life is immeasurable. Though I rarely share UP news on my Facebook wall, I do often ‘like’ and ‘heart-react’ to good things and news that the university has accomplished.

Anyhow, I forgot about this beautiful product since my husband and I were in the middle of something utterly important when it was first brought to my attention. Until I got to chat with a friend.

This wonderful gift came from a friend whom I’ve known for a couple of years now, but we haven’t meet in person just yet. It was through Penfires that we first connected and we bonded more due to our mutual interest in online marketing and web publishing. Aside from this, we also have one other thing in common, we are both UP graduates although from different campuses.

Few days after our chat, the LBC man called to say that he is delivering something for me, I went down to wait asap, even though I know it will take a bit of time before they make it to my place. Excited lang talaga. 🙂

Finally, the gift was in my hand. I messaged my friend again to thank him for his thoughtfulness. Also, may Facebook post agad-agad lol.

By the way when I took the clock out of the box, then fell a bluebook. OA yes pero napatili ako coz I wasn’t expecting it. I did not read reviews before so I was totally surprised to see the bluebook. Genius touch ng seller.

Nag doble ang saya ko when I saw that bluebook, parang friend na matagal na di nakita at nasilayang muli haha.

After posting it on my FB wall, a batchmate commented that she has ordered and now waiting for delivery. Some others asked me how to order, I just referred them to the Iskolar Time website and the seller’s FB page since I did not order this myself. 

3 days after posting, another batchmate proudly shoutouts that her 2 UP logo wall clocks have arrived. One for her house, another for her parent’s house. Nakaka-happy talaga to see reminders of UP displayed in the house. You can even display this in the office, in the bedroom, in the study room, your choice. 

UP Wooden Logo Clock Review

• Great quality and craftsmanship. 

• It’s made from wood. Love this!

• The eagle’s outline is carved and some other parts sa face ng clock. At hindi lang basta carved ha, ukit-Paete pa! 

• This is a UP licensed product. Legit. Limited run, limited quantity.

• The product functions properly as a clock. The size at 12 inches diameter is perfect for the wall or to place on your work/study desk. 

• I also appreciate that the UP logo wall clock was safely packed in a thick, sturdy box plus it was bubble-wrapped for extra layer of protection. Kudos to the seller. 

Slight issue that I experienced with the product is that at first, it’s a bit difficult to push-in the AA battery but on the 2nd attempt, pumasok na and voila, the clock’s hand begins to move. Yeyyy, functioning as clock talaga bukod sa maganda at nakakaproud pang display. 

One suggestion I do have to the seller is to provide the needed one piece of AA battery so the buyer can right away see and appreciate the product working. Atat ako na makita mag-move yung hand kaso walang battery on-hand so I have to wait for my husband to buy one AA battery. Impatient ang peg hehhe.

Ordering is by batch and for limited slots, so if you miss the current batch, you have to wait for the next one. So best to order agad-agad. Baka magkaubusan lalo na this Christmas season.
