See copies of the winning pictures that we’ve taken from the SM Cebu Sinulog display which you can also visit at the Ground Floor area from January 28 to February 10, 2012. The original photos are own by the Sinulog Photo Contest Organizers, and thanks to them for having the public viewing!

Update: I signed up and paid for Photobucket PRO account so the pics can be loaded again to Penfires and for the bandwidth allocation to become unlimited. But I only signed up for the pro account for a month since I don’t have funds for one year membership lol. Curious about the 2013 Sinulog Photo Contest WINNERS?

What bothers me with this photos is that some of the photographers are engaged with the dancers and are in the middle of the dancers performing where they should not have been. I think those photos should have been disqualified!!! Also, let us know who judged these photographs so we will know their credibility! My suggestion for the next sinulog would be that, photographers should be 50 feet in front of the first dancers, and the sinulog queens should be behind the dancers so that photographers will no circle the queens.
@Shout and Be Heard, you are not alone in your sentiments about photographers blocking the contingents or hampering their movements, lots of Cebu based forums are ripe with complaints and suggestions for new rules from concerned members. Hopefully the Sinulog Photo Contest organizers will heed these calls and make changes to the rules for Sinulog 2013 and onwards that will be fair to all. About the judges, hmmm I’ll try to find info on them and hopefully be able to update this post. I have no idea how to take amazing pics let alone assess the credibility of the judges so I’ll let experts do that. 🙂
