2011. A year of many firsts for me personally and for Penfires.
It’s been a rewarding year – me carving a new career path, of this blog reaching new heights. Of me looking agog, with bugged eye staring at rising stats for posts that gone somewhat ‘viral’ (to bloggers that such a happy experience hehehe), of me finally cashing in for the first time earnings from this blog, of me getting emails for events to cover or places to review and freebies that land on my doorstep.
Of being blessed with the best gift of all – readers leaving their appreciation of what you’ve been doing, helping some plan their travels more wisely and safely, meeting and interacting with those who landed on this blog.
Apparently, some do believe what I say and read what I have to share despite many of what I say are random ramblings of a scattered mind hehehe nahhh Thank You All for a wonderful ride and what your warm comments, emails and visits have done for this site. Daghang Salamat!
Hopefully 2012 will be a year filled again with new adventures and more travels.
2011 year saw me spend vacation time with love ones in Bohol, Camotes, Manila and more places. Hopefully the coming year will bring more opportunities to travel and share the wonders of the Philippines and to encourage more people to travel across the 7101 wonderful islands that we have.
The Philippines is very beautiful – discover its beauty on your own, with your special one, with your friends, with your barkadas, with your family. Whatever you do, I hope you can explore and promote traveling too in our country.
2012 will also be extra special for me as my birthday will fall on triple 12 – I feel the date hold so much promise for me – I might become a millionaire hahahaha (yes I will if I win the lotto lol). Or I might get lots of gifts. C’mon people my 2012 birthday is a few days before the end of the world according to the Mayan calendars! I’m willing to receive all treasures and gifts you’ll give me! Hahahah kidding on the end of the world (..but err not on my willingness to receive gifts hehehhe)
