Was it this year 2011 when the Philippine Central Bank released new versions of the Philippine banknotes? I’m not sure -wait, i’ll Google it.
Hmm, it said late last year but I could swear no new notes is available to the public because I haven’t seen any new bills circulating, and it’s already three months since their released. I guess people are hoarding the new generation Philippine peso bills as collection items until the novelty wears off. I would if i have one hehe
Just yesterday i had a great date with my good friend Joaqs whom I haven’t seen for the longest time, she’s a former colleague during my banking days and also a fellow UPian.
When we were about to part ways, she asked if i have seen the new banknotes, my eyes brighten I know what to expect with a statement like that heheh.
Leah aka Joaqs gave me one very crisp new version of the fifty peso bill! I was like a child being handed a new toy or candy, I couldn’t wait to inspect my new bill. Lol. Simple things like that makes me glad, and she treated me to lunch and yoghurt! What more can i ask?! Thanks lei! ^_^
