I was browsing through iStorya a few hours ago and one of the forum topics that caught my attention made me remember my old blog hosted at angelfire circa 2001! It was such a long time ago that I am pretty sure the word ‘blogging’ and ‘blogger’ were not coined yet then, and I didn’t know that that was what I was doing – blogging. For me it was more like an escape, an outlet, a way to come to terms with intense emotion…
Anyhow, luck of all luck I gained access to my old blog from way back when i was writing mostly about heartaches and angst haha… trust me.. it’s really mostly about heartaches and angst of a very young girl lol .. the words I’ve chosen to serve as ‘domain’ is blues/kismet hehehe. BLUES talaga, at KISMET talaga haha.
Now if you check this picture of some old written thoughts, the titles are medyo naive and emo, lol.
Good thing I have the foresight to hide those very incriminating blog posts in Angelfire and change the links in the homepage to render most of them useless before google became so wise with sitemaps and all hahaha although i can still access the hidden files from the subdirectory of the subdirectory of the sub – you get my point 🙂
Blog websites then were pretty simple in terms of layout and design unless you know all about php, coding and the likes and you have to build the font colors, sizes as well as your links manually, if you notice most of the words are no longer underline as i have to remove their links. Today with wordpress and blogger, finding an awesome web lay-out for your blog has become easy. Good thing!
From the words i used then you know exploring places and dancing in the rain has always captivated my imagination… and well chocolate of course hehehe
I am just happy and fascinated that i ‘found’ my old blog again and below is its landing page snapshot ^_^
this blog also means one thing – I really do love to write! hehehe..
..anyhow gotta sleep it’s wayyyyy past my bedtime!
