Divisoria has it all, or almost. Or yahhh maybe all including rows upon rows of dress shops and bridal shops. 🙂 Your expensive designer dress may have raw materials elements source from a store in Divi.
This is not surprising considering fabrics of all sorts are available in this hub as well as most raw materials you can think of. Remember the teleserye with Gretchen Baretto and Bea Alonzo which started with a scene of rolls and rolls of fabrics? Yep, that! (my bad I forgot the teleserye title)
La Gretta was a fashion designer whereas Bea started her humble beginning as a regular seamstress in a divisoria shop then this younger gal hit the jackpot and became the toast of the Manila fashion designing scene.
So why I am writing about this? This is because I am 100% satisfied and happy with my wedding gown and entourage dresses that I ordered in Divisoria. My friends couldn’t believe that Titus and I only paid P35,000 for the whole set of 1 bridal gown, 1 mother of the bride dress, 1 maid of honor, 1 bridesmaid, 3 secondary sponsor dresses. Look at the finish product!
I had my bridal gown and entourage dresses made to order from Jannah and Keith Boutique in 168 Mall. This shop is being manned by the owner itself Ms. Cherry Beruela, her able assistants headed by Ate Dolor. When I first met these two ladies I told them straightaway that I have no plans of dieting at all. I am not planning to diet, nope, nada.
**I avoided drinking coke for 2 weeks – this comprised the only diet I committed to.
When I picked up the dresses I had a chance to interview Cherry and learned that the reason why her shop turns out quality, well-made dresses is because of her long time exposure and experience working for a well-known bridal shop for 20 years. Her exposure to the wedding industry was enhanced further by her participation in hotels and wedding conventions bridal fares of the company she worked for previously.
Cherry Beruela of Jannah and Keith Fashion Boutique
After 20 years of working as an employee, Cherry finally took the plunge 7 years ago and started her own bridal and gown shop in 168 Mall Divisoria, Ate Dolor who was her workmate came with her. They specialize in made to order gowns, but they also offer ready to wear wedding dresses.
Today her shop is one of the busiest and in-demand wedding gown maker in the Bridal Section of 168 mall. You can find Jannah and Keith at the Basement of the Soler Wing of 168, near Robinson’s Supermaket. Stall address is LGE-05 (lower ground floor stall 5). The shop’s name after Cherry’s children.
Bridal dresses, Bridesmaid, Mother of the Bride For Sale in the 168 Mall Bridal Section
What I like about the service I’ve received is that Cherry is there to attend to customers. If you have special request or instruction, you will know right away if they can accommodate because she is there, present and able to answer queries and requests. On instances that she is out of the shop and in their workstation (still in Divi area), her assistants calls her up to be at the shop and in 15 minutes or less, she is there. Thumbs-up on great customer service!
Pulido pa ang trabaho!

BRIDAL GOWN PACKAGE INCLUSION
My wedding gown package also comes with freebies – cord, 2 pillows for the rings and arrhae, coins, garter, wedding gown veil, veil for the secondary sponsor, bride’s pouch, hair accessories. Am a happy bride indeed!
I adjusted the pillows because our wedding rings and coins have personalized boxes made for them.
DESIGN and MEASUREMENT SUBMISSION
I requested my mom (Mother of the Bride), sister (Maid of Honor), cousin-in-law Kat (Bridesmaid), my friends Doi, Jenny and Leah (Secondary Sponsors) to submit to me a gown design that they like. These in turn I emailed to Cherry. We coordinated mostly via email and phone since I was based in Cebu and can’t make frequent trips to their shop. My sister and Doi submitted their measurements too since they can’t go physically to the shop, the others were able to go and have their measurement taken by either Cherry or Dolor.
My sister’s dress fitted perfectly; Doi’s had a problem with the sleeves hemming because it was too tight and the cleavage area had to be adjusted by Doi’s mom because it was so deep. I think that there was a miscommunication somewhere with the submitted measurement that’s why there was a minor set-back to Doi’s dress. Other than these two aberyas, am so pleased that the dresses were made well and look fab!!!
Kat when she visited the shop for first fitting, she was ecstatic because her bridesmaid dress hugged her body perfectly. No adjustment was needed. Happily she texted us that she can bring it home right there and then, after just one fitting. She had another gown made in a different 168 bridal shop on the 4th floor a few months ago, and she had to come back four times to this other shop so they can adjust her gown to fit her well. But with Jannah and Keith, she only went twice, first to have her measurements taken, the next (and last) was when she first tried on the dress. 😀
VISITING THE SHOP
Our first visit to her shop was when my measurements were taken and we paid the downpayment of P10,000. The rest of the payments were on subsequent visits.
The second was when I fitted the dress skeleton lining. Cherry told me that it is up to me if I will wear or not wear a petticoat under the gown, in any case she’ll include the petticoat frame in my bridal gown box. Good thing because I used the petticoat. 🙂
The third visit was for my final fitting, the lace for the shoulder area was still not sewed in. At this time, my dress glided perfectly on my body but there was little allowance on the sides. I did not anticipate that in the weeks following the final fitting I’d gained and inch or two or more around the waists, waaaaaaaa lol.
The fourth visit was when we picked-up the dress; I did not fit it because you know, ang tradisyon.
On my wedding day, my gown was tight, lol, but this was my fault. I remembered Ate Dolor advising me on the final fitting that ‘wag na po dagdagan ang weight’ but I did waaaaaaaaa hehhehe but heyyyy my gown looks fab still! Weeeeee hehehe
*I’m one of those brides who really took to heart the tradition of never wearing your wedding dress once it’s done and with you. On the last fitting (with the missing upper body laces) the dress fit me to a tee, the next time I donned on the dress (now completed) was on the wedding day itself. My friends were aghast when they can’t close the invisible zippers fully on the waist portion hahaha.
This was one of my wedding’s memorable highlights. I was so nervous, the heart beating fast, the mind racing, afraid that I will faint at the church (the story shared by our church marriage center staff about one bride fainting during the ceremony because her dress was so tight played non-stop on my mind). My dress couldn’t be zipped properly! It was a funny moment, we were laughing with the sheer incredulity of it hehhe. When I calmed down, I was able to breathe normally. Finally, LOL.
Do I regret not trying on the dress when I picked-it up in their bridal shop in 168? A little bit, yes but just a little. =)
All these dresses are Proudly Made in Divisoria!
WEDDING DRESS PACKAGE EXPENSE
When it comes to wedding gown price, just give them your budget and your designs and they will work around your requirements. On my case, Cherry said that if I can increase the fee by P5000, from P35,000 to P40,000 there would be more elaborate bead work and details on my gown’s belt but my mind was already made-up that budget is only up to Php35,000. I can’t afford a more expensive gown hehe.
Cherry and her team have made wonders with dresses ordered from them! I totally love my belt too! It’s the highlight of my gown I say. =)
Missing in the picture that’s part of the package: My mom in her dress
Tulle, tulle, and lots of tulle were used on my gown. Hindi talaga sila nag tipid sa materiales. 😀
If you are shopping for your wedding gown and conscious about the budget, drop a visit to Cherry’s shop. Bring your own design or choose one from the wedding magazines on their shop. Cherry and her team of seamstress and embroiders will be able to create your dream bridal dress.
*They also make barong and suits for the men in your entourage.

daisy says
Elo ms. Badeth,as ko lang kung ung sa P35k na budget ilang kasama sa secondary and bridesmaid?ksama ndin ba maid of honor?thnx..
Cille Anne says
Marjoe says
Hello Cille Anne,
Thank you for giving me another idea where to get my entourage dresses.
How much if I only need dresssd for my entourage (7 pieces) Mga magkano kaya ang quote nila sa ganun? And do they also make for flower girls and for the the ring bearers, etc?
And can I get the body measurements of my entourage first and give to the boutique upon providing them what kind of design ng dress and then pupunta nalang ang entourage ko dun sa boutique when their dresses are made for their fitting? Ganun po ba yung process? And how many weeks before they can finish the entourage dress?
Sorry po, sobrang daming questions. Im just so pressured, my wedding is on June na and Im working overseas. 🙁
Thank you so much sister.
Marjoe
Cille Anne says
Hi Marjoe, no worries =)
On your queries:
>>How much if I only need dresses for my entourage (7 pieces) Mga magkano kaya ang quote nila sa ganun?
Ms Cherry will ask you how much is your total budget for your entourage dresses, then they will adjust. Example: budget mo P15,000 – the dresses accents/beadings/etc will be simpler as compared to say if your budget is P30,000. It really depends on your budget. I suggest you call/email Cherry with your chosen dress designs. Make sure to indicate a name to the specific design if iba’t iba yung design per person.
>>And do they also make for flower girls and for the the ring bearers, etc?
Yes they do. =)
>>And can I get the body measurements of my entourage first ..
If makakapunta sila sa shop mismo, I recommend dun nalang sila pa measure. If merong di makakapunta, you can send their measurements via email. That’s what I did for 2 of my entourage kasi Cebu based.
>>how many weeks before they can finish the entourage dress?
I could not really give a definitive answer to this kasi sabi ni Cherry when I inquired it depends on the season, peak and off peak etc. It would be best if you call or email Cherry para if may tanong ka pa, she can answer right away. I think my skype sya just not so sure but you can ask her.
>>my wedding is on June na and Im working overseas.
Congratulations in advance!!! =)
I feel you, mahirap mag plan ng wedding especially malayo ka but kaya niyo yan ng fiancee mo!
Oo nga pala yung June peak season yan for the wedding industry, hope you’ll email/call/contact Cherry as early as you can should you decide to employ her services. Or have someone visit the shop armed with your list of questions and with your designs.
Lastly, believe that things, all the planning will fall into place. Congratulations again!
Cille 🙂

Hi sis! Good to know you are satisfied naman with your gown supplier from Divisoria! Pero just to warn others sis, not all Divisoria gown stalls are in good faith with their services. Marami rin dyan yung mga pinapapapulis and finafilan ng case because of delivering gowns na hindi naman yun ang pinag-usapan na design and sometimes failure in delivery rin.
I have a friend na muntik ng magpagawa ng gown dun sa isa sa stall sa Tutuban Mall, yung pinakabungad na stall dun sa entrance ng Bridal section. Buti inatras nya kase one of their principal sponsors sinagot na yung gown nya kasi may couturier. Ang nahirapan sila ngayon is yung sa groom nya and sa mothers ng groom nya kase hindi raw dineliver sa date na pinag-usapan. Instead daw na first week of January, middle of January na dineliver, pinagmadali nya pa yun. And yung gusto nilang design hindi raw sinunod nung may-ari.
Which is kinda rude I think.
Just to warn other girls na rin sis, the name ata of the person is Che, bungad lang daw sa entrance sa may Tutuban Mall. Nirefer nya ko run before coz Im a bride to be too, kaya lang nung kinwento nya saken yan, siempre ayoko na dun. Heheh.
Cille Anne says
Thanks for sharing din, like with any industry need din talaga due diligence when choosing one’s bridal gown maker.

At babaliktarin qa pa nya kesyo cnabihan ka daw na ndi daw nia kaya gayahin which from the start nagagree cia sa design at tinanggap nya. Kahit bridal gown qu ndi pa nacimulan hanggan ngayon. So beware sa mga bride to be. Iwasan na ang dapat iwasan. Dahil magaling yan cia mambaliktad ng tao ei. Magiging kasalanan mo pa sa huli at magdadak pa yan sa store nya at ipapahiya ka pa.

Sana smooth sailing na ang wedding prep mo from today until your May wedding.
yaci says
Cille Anne says
Hi Yaci, yung kinuha ko is bridal gown and entourage package so hindi nakaseparate yung rate ng bridal gown.
>>depende po ba sa design o sa tela?
both, kasi if highly complicated yung design mas mahal, tsaka magkakatalo din sa tela na gagamitin.
>>pag yari na po magkano po?
Iba’t ibang prices yung ready to wear na bridal dresses nila at ng ibang shops sa divisoria. It’s best to go to Divi para makita mo yung mga designs or contact Divi shops directly para makahingi ka ng list of rtw gowns and their prices.
emadith says
Salamat

Hi Kristine, they don’t have a facebook page the last time I asked :/
MrsNevilos says
Cille Anne says
Hi MrsNevilos, I sent the designs around June for the quotation, but only gave all the measurements mid of July, then claimed the gowns September, about 2 months, not sure if this is the shop’s normal delivery lead time though.

hello there! this is such an awesome post! i have a question though, dun sa 35K na budget mo, kasama na don ang tela for the dresses? and im guessing you were also able to pick the color and fabric?
Thank you very much! have a nice day!
Cille Anne says
Hi Maan, yes everything na sya, including choice of design, fabric and color. Have an awesome day too! 🙂

Oh My G!!! Sobrang laking tulong po nitong blog niyo Miss Cille! 😀 I actually bookmarked it para naman hindi ko na hanapin next time. 😉 I’m soon to be na din and I was searching for reviews about Wedding gowns sa Divisoria, and luckily I found this one! 😀 Naka-based ako ngayon dito sa New Zealand. Me and my partner are planning to get married pa sa 2017. I know it’s still too far, hahaha. But, mas mabuti na yung ready kesa naghahabol. Still, don’t know what else to plan. We’re still actually looking for heaps. And can I ask you po what we need to prepare? Bukod po sa marriage license and etc Thank you so much po for posting this and giving us soon to be brides an idea. Cheers to you! 😀 .
Cille Anne says
Hi Edz, Congratulations to you and your fiancee! 🙂
Mabilis lang yang 2017 pag nagpaplaplano ng kasal, esp wala ka sa Pilipinas for the prep. On the things one needs to prepare for a wedding, I’ll post nalang a blog post kasi medyo mahaba yung listahan haha, pero baka hindi agad-agad, baka sa March na maka-post. Congratulations again! =)
Yann says
Hi,
Read your blog and it’s very informative. I’m Cebu based also and planning to buy my gown nalang there to minimize the cost. My wedding is in November and planning to go there by July. Ask ko lang did you really go to Manila for 3 times for the fitting? Kasi baka super expensive din if I go there often. Thinking of buying an RTW wedding gown nalang but mas maganda talaga if custom fit. Also, can you pls PM me the name of the store you mentioned na hindi maganda ang review so I can avoid it when I go there. Thanks a lot!
Cille Anne says
Hi Yann, gitiming nako na I had other business in Manila; I only went there once na dress lang dyud ang gi-adto. Di na alam ng cousin-in-law ko yung name nung shop sa 4th floor :/ There are lots and lots of RTW sa divi, it just need patience to find that perfect ready made wedding gown should you choose to go that route. Congratulations diay! 🙂
Tes Gamir says

Hi ma’am Cille Im a 2015 bride and I have already booked with Cherry Beruela of Jannah&Kieth. I chose them bcoz i have read several positive reviews about them and they were 1 of those most recommended. Im just a little anxious now that Ms. Che were not replying to my email and txt. I called her a week before to ask something and she said she will just txt me about it. But she did not. Did you also experience it with her?
kitten says
Hello mam Cille Anne. I have already booked with Cherry Beruela for my gown and my entourage gowns as well. I chose her because of all the positive reviews i have read about her. BUT i am a little anxious for now kasi she is not replying to my txt and email. I am also a nrode from the province so emails, txts and phonecalls is my only means to follow up with her. I called her a week before to ask something and she told me that her sister in law was the one taking care of my gowns so she couldnt answer what im asking that time. I asked her na lang to txt me. Kaya lang i didnt receive any msg from her. Just want to ask you mam Cille if have you experience the same thing with her? She seems nice naman so i thought baka fot her matagal pa ang wedding ko thats why di pa nya priority. Im planning to visit her again next week. Mam Cille 1 thing pa pala, may contract ba kayo when you boked with her?
Cille Anne says
Hi Kitten, have you tried contacting her again this week? If you haven’t, it might be a good idea to try to call her and to also update her that you are coming back to her shop next week.
>> Just want to ask you mam Cille if have you experience the same thing with her?
My transaction with her was seamless.
>>may contract ba kayo when you booked with her?
Walang contract, walk-in lang ako sa shop niya, then I paid the down-payment, got the receipt, then I went back to Cebu. Emailed my designs a couple of weeks after, then it progress okay from then on.
I do suggest for your peace of mind, when you visit her next week to bring a contract ready for her to sign, make it triplicate so you can give her a copy, and you have two copies.
Hope it will be smooth sailing for your wedding prep from now on.
Jo says
Hello!
How was your overall experience after transacting with her? I recently paid my dp for my bridal gown 🙁

Thanks for posting this. I am really looking for a good wedding dress maker without sky rocket price. This is really helpful. 🙂

Hi Aileen, no idea po, package kasi yung sa akin. If you are near divi, go there nalang para mas madami kang macanvas.
jonabelle says
Wow! you look all gorgeous! Thumbs up!
Thanks for posting this!
I’ll send email to them since nasa abroad ako. Sana mag reply sila sakin. kaso medyo kinakabahan ako kasi, 4days lang, kasal ko na. haha! so kung may adjustment, baka di agad magawa. what to do? 🙂
Cille Anne says
Congrats Jonabelle, naku pressure nga yan esp December is a peak period for the wedding industry in the Philippines.

Hi,
Thank you for posting this 🙂
Great help for me, but is the shop still in Divisoria?
Because I’m planning to visit the shop next year (May) as I was based in middle east.
Cille Anne says
Hi Camille, yes nasa 168 po yung Janah and Keith. You can also canvas and compare other shops pa, madami silang magkakadikit na bridal shops dun. 🙂
Kristel says
Hi ms. cille
My wedding po is on dec.19 na, nagkaprob kami sa supplier ng gown ko. And i found your blog, sana nabasa ko yo dati pa. May question lang po ma’am can they still accommodate me on working two-weeks for my gown supposedly po?
Thanks and Godbless
Cille Anne says
Hi Kristel,
Sorry to hear about your troubles sa gown, sana things will turn out okay. You can try contacting my gown maker, but na-alala ko they told me September palang usually swamp na sila for bridal dresses for December weddings and di na sila tumatanggap ng late. But then again, it wouldn’t hurt to try, baka sakali.
sophia kim says
Good thing for you, you had good experiences with Jannah and Keith. I had a really bad one. The classic case of customer dissatisfaction at the highest level. Because of their busy schedules, maybe partly because of the good blog reviews—i myself learned about them from this blog—they became so busy and the quality has deteriorated. They made promises that were all broken. My gown was not what I wanted. We had the design photocopied from her book but they used another design for me. Probbly that one fitted their available skeds better. 3 times of back and forth with gown alterations. So far, no good news in sight.
Cille Anne says
Hi Sophia, that’s too bad to hear if their quality has suffered, did you have a bridal gown made or a party gown?
Jo says
Hi! What happened to your gown na? Did they apologize to you? I recently booked them to make my gown and I’m worried this might happen to me 🙁 thank you
