My 1st photo book from Photobook Philippines arrived today and it got me so excited! I want more!!! 🙂
You see I have this one folder in my laptop with label ‘PRINT THIS’ – a collection of my fave photos from all the travels I’ve been on.
My plan was to print at least 10 to 20 4R pictures from each travel, each event over the years, and then safekeep them in an album. But the digital photos sat on the folder, gathering cyborg dust for god knows how long.
Then one day, my sister (@thatneverlandgirl on Instagram) pm’ed me and pushed me to buy a voucher from Photobook Philippines since they were having a promotion. Who can resist a P1000 for P4000 voucher? I can’t. SALES are a weakness, especially fantastic deals that involves photos, and preserving memories.
So I bought one voucher for use later on, when I have time. This is what I bought:
Photobook Philippines product details:
11 x 11 Large Square Imagewrap Hardcover 40 pages for P1000
Express Shipping Delivery for P350
*”when I have time” line usually don’t materialize, agree?
Anyhow, months have passed since I paid for the voucher and I haven’t even login on the site to start creating my photobook using the provided online web editor / photobook designer / layout software. November 11 is the expiration date of my Photobook Philippines voucher, and my sister is panicking. Because it was she who suggested I buy, and looks like despite the nearing deadline, still no action on my part.
So she instructed me to gather 80 to 100 of my favorite pictures and then put these on Dropbox so she can access and download the photos from where she is. We live miles away, so dropboxing the pics is best to preserve the photo integrity. *If pictures are downloaded from say facebook, the picture quality and resolution decreases.
“I won’t edit your pics; I’ll just do layout kay wala nay time’. She was also in the middle of doing her own photobook. She’s offering a hassle-free layout for my book, I agreed, of course. 😉
*especially coz she is more artsy, and creative versus the more straight – logical me. Nyahaha.
Thanks nth! Check her blog by the way The Road To Neverland 🙂
Last October 31, two weeks shy of the voucher-use validity, my sister uploaded the book-file she made for me and the one for hers on the same day. When the tracking number was emailed to me, I typed-it on the online package tracking facility at DHL website, and was so surprise to note that the book will come all the way from Malaysia. I thought it’s going to be printed in the country since I bought the voucher from Photobook Philippines website. Turns out the company Photobook Worldwide got no office / processing facilities yet in the country, and the nearest is the one in Shah Alam, Malaysia.
I was so excited to receive mine when my sister posted a shout-out on Facebook that she already got hers just after 5 days of successful upload of the ready-to-print-book on Photobook website. Hers was delivered to our home in Cebu. Mine was delivered after 7 days.
The extra 2 days was due to the fact that I live in the highlands now, and DHL only has a Tuesday and Friday delivery schedules to our place, plus, the tracking says my package was sent to the wrong delivery facility the first time. But no probs, 7 days to receive my beautiful, memory-laden photobook is within reasonable time. Actually, I am surprise printing to delivery is fast considering that the book is imported. Anyhow, photo booking is made easy and convenient, thanks Photobook Worldwide! I am a smiling, happy customer! 🙂
When the delivery staff of DHL finally called to ask for house direction, I couldn’t hold my excitement! Yeyyy! 🙂 and it’s BEAUTIFUL!!! LOVE! LOVE! LOVE IT!
*I am now doing a second one, as a surprise Christmas gift to my grandparents. Excited!
BTW, this is Page 6 of my sister’s. You can really do any layout you want for your photobook or use one of the newbie-friendly design templates available online. You can also put in as many pictures as you want, or as little as three photos like these landscape pics snaps of my sister.

Photobook Philippines regularly have special sale on their different products, it’s best to wait for these promos to get the best deals. Aside from photo-book, I’ve bought 2 vouchers of their promo ‘P100 for 100 pcs of 4R prints’ – this was during PB’s 10th year anniversary promos last month.
Sadly, as of now they can’t combine shipping even if you bought 2 vouchers of the same deal and paid on a single transaction receipt. I learned this after submitting a ticket to their support desk.
*You can pay for your Photobook voucher via Credit Card, Paypal. They also accept most Philippine-based ATM or debit cards.
*Delivery express shipping fee for my photobook starts at P300, depending on book size. So total cost for my order is P1,350 – this is so worth it in my books!
If you are looking for a wonderful Christmas gift idea that will last a long time and easy enough to create – get a photobook. Or even better, give yourself the gift of a photo book. Personalize pa!
Happy day! 🙂
UPDATE November 23: 4 Photobooks have arrived, and I still have 4 photo book albums in the making. Good thing that voucher validity is 6 months. 🙂
By the way I only buy vouchers when there is a good sale. PB has an on-going 60% to 90% sale on photobooks for their Black Friday and Pre-Black Friday. Get the best deals too!

Hi,
Question lang po, pano po naman yung process for the printing ng 100 pcs 4R prints? I just bought recently and now, I still don’t have any idea on how they can get the pictures I wanted them to print. Thank you in advance.

Hi Zhane,
What I usually do is to login to my Photobook account, and then access the link for the Photo Prints. Then choose 4R, then choose 100 pcs. Then click “Personalize”. This will bring you to a new page, you will be asked to login to the “Project area”. This login is different from your Photobook credentials, unless you’ve also chosen to use the same email and password. Once inside the “Project Area”, you can now add all pics that you want printed, put captions or stickers or background etc. Make sure to save your file. Then once ready, just submit your completed order and follow the prompt.
Hope this helps!
Cille 🙂
