This is one of those times that I seriously wish am in Sagada right now. In the highlands and chasing waterfalls to be more specific. Instead I am sitting here typing on Muncher who he himself is groaning from the intense heat. The air is stale and humid, the electric fan by my side working double time but sadly failing to make the surrounding cooler. In fact, what comes out of the fan is hot air, like air that comes straight from the oven or a furnace. You really don’t want to be at the receiving end of the blown air but still you face the fan hehehe
It’s really hot everywhere.
Seriooooously.
I’ve already read friends’ FB shoutouts of petitioning the powers that be to air-conditioned the whole island. Hehehe. Wouldn’t it be a treat? =)
It’s must be hot in the rest of the Philippines too, the PAGASA personnel have already declared that summer is officially here, a fortnight ago. Since then, I keep dreaming to be somewhere else where there is a cold spring or a river, a beach can work too.
I’m planning to go to Kawasan soon and some beach in Cebu South, can’t wait.
I LOVE WATERFALLS and yes CHASING THEM!
Its waterfalls that holds a special place in my heart. Green foliage, cold waters, forest cover, surrounded by special sounds only a jungle can make – all these make for a best summer escape in my books.
Whats your summer plans?

The sun sets late too! I’ve noticed this yesterday at passed 6 PM, there is still light. Good news for kids whose summer vacation just started, they have more time to play outside. But then again, in this day and age of electronic games, only a few kids are out on the street and playing butterfeet, tumbang priso, shatong or plain and simple habulan. *shaking my head*
On another note, these sun-kissed kids from the picture below must have the grand time of their lives running in a powdery white sand beach and the cool water just inches away. Do you want to trade places with them? Raise your hand! =)
Ahhh summer we hate and love you.
We can’t change you but we can definitely try to enjoy you!
May we all have an adventure-filled summer!
