Hunting for airfare deals for your next vacation and trips? This travel post dedicated to Cebu Pacific Promo Tickets could be helpful to you.
When it comes to air travel in the Philippines, there is one airline that revolutionized this industry, and that is Cebu Pacific Air which started way back in March 1996. The maiden flight was from Manila to Cebu, the home of the Gokongweis, the family behind CebPac. This airline made it possible for ordinary Juan like you and me to afford air travel with their year-long low fares and of course, what they are most famous for, the Piso Fare.
Fast forward to today, Cebu Pacific just launched their latest promotional campaign for their newest route, Cebu to San Vicente, Palawan. They are offering piso fare tickets to this new destination! Flight frequency for this new route is 4X weekly on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. If you want to be among the first to “discover” the untouched beauty of this place in Palawan, book your tickets right away and fly!
Sale Period starts from June 19 to 26, 2024.
Travel Period starts from October 26, 2024 to March 29, 2025
Number of promo seats allocated for this sale is 70.
I made two trial bookings, the first one is one-way, the picture above, final price is P1,168.68. The second one is the picture below, I tested looking for round trip and got it! The total ticket price for the round trip only amounts to P2,003.36, because going there and the return flight is on piso fare base fare. Sweet, sweet deal!
Now, for those based in Manila, you can still catch-up promo flights to San Vicente, Palawan via Cebu. Sale Period starts from June 19 to 30, 2024. Travel Period and number of promo seats allocated for Manila to San Vicente (via Cebu) are the same above.

When is a Cebu Pacific Sale in 2024?
You may be wondering when is there a sale or when can you book promos. Based on my experience and observations, Cebu Pacific usually offers a new seat sale every 1st to 3rd of the month, and then again every 16th to 18th of the month. Check their website on these days. The booking period is usually either 3 days or 15 days.
Aside from their ‘regular seat sale’, this airline also launches deals on holidays, festivals, and special dates. Example as follows:
- Last Mother’s Day celebration wherein they offered piso fare tickets. Maybe in 2025, too?
- Promo fares on double digits special dates like 3.3, 6.6, 9.9, 11.11, etc.
- Best rates on travel days that coincides with a Philippine festival like Sinulog, Sandugo, etc.
But still the best bet for you to know if there is a sale is to subscribe to the social media channels of the airline or subscribe to their email newsletters. Subscribe! Subscribe!
What is a base fare and how much will you pay exactly?
Usually, the Cebu Pacific promos are offered on the base fare. The base fare is the price of the airline seat itself; taxes, surcharges, booking fee, terminal fee, security fee is not included yet.
All these mentioned fees will be added to the base fare rate to get the final price of the promo ticket. But you know, even with the added fees, most of the time the promo ticket still comes up cheaper versus regular-priced tickets. Now, if you can book the true P1 tickets, all I can say is naka-jackpot ka!
Is it best to book one-way or round-trip when there is a Piso Fare Promo?
If you are searching for piso sale tickets a few minutes or within a few hours after Cebu Pacific announces they are offering P1 base fare, then I suggest you look for round-trip tickets. There is a high chance you can secure yourself piso fares. The reasoning is that you got to booking early and ahead of the other deal hunters.
Now, if you are trying to book after a day or two of the piso announcement, then I strongly recommend that you search for one-way flight first and if you find the cheapest rate, reserve it by choosing “Payment Center” as your option in paying. Then search for round-trip next, hopefully you can get RT promos like in our sample. But if in case there is none available, I suggest that you wait for the next seat sale to book a return flight.
*Make sure to pay for reserved tickets in Payment Centers within 8 hours of booking, otherwise, the reservation will be forfeited.
BE READY TO GRAB A PROMO SLOT with THESE USEFUL TIPS
If there is an anticipated sale like a big holiday is upcoming or a double digit day, hello 9.9! you have to prepare. The mindset should be – be among the first ones to book the piso sale slots, which means be ready minutes or hours before a possible major sale of Cebu Pacific Air. Here are tips to help you get ahead:
1. Have a reliable and fast internet connection.
2. If you want to book using the mobile app, make sure the app is the latest version.
3. Login to your MyCebuPacific Account. If you don’t have an account yet, register for one.
4. Prepare the travel details. List the name of passengers and their birthdays, and if they have a GetGo account or their MyCebuPacific account number. List also the ideal travel date, ideal flight schedule, target route or destination.
*Be travel flexible, if your first choice for travel date and time does not offer piso, is it okay to go for other dates? Or other destination, perhaps? Like Tokyo instead of Hong Kong? 😊
You say there is a promo but I can’t find any?!
Seat sales and promos are on a first-come, first-served basis, or until promo seats last. If you can’t find the advertised cheapest airfare rate, it could be because (1) the destination you’re looking for might not be included in the sale that day you search for one, (2) your intended travel period is not covered by the current promo, (3) all promo slots are already sold to the early birds, (4) you need to enter a promo code so the page will display the promo rates.
If the lowest possible base fare is no longer available, the airline’s website will show the next best rate.
What I suggest for you to do in case your first search did not return with the lowest base fare, is to also check the “near dates” or as many dates as you can check. Note that those who have flexible schedules have a better chance at finding deals.
I was already in the payment page then the piso seat is gone!
Unfortunately, this does happen. Since Cebu Pacific piso fare promos are high-in-demand, it could be that while you were thinking about pushing through buying the ticket, there is another passenger who just paid for the same seat. When this situation arises, your booking will not push through and you have to start looking for cheap seats again. Lesson? Finalized and pay for your booking fast. Like quick!
Where to Book the Tickets?
If there is a major seat sale, online booking is the best option. This is the way to get the fastest booking confirmation.
- Go to the Cebu Pacific Air official website at cebupacificair.com
- Or go to Apple iStore or Google Play and download the mobile app
Alternatively, you may also visit a ticketing branch at the airport or a travel agency. Note that there are promotions which are for online booking only. If you prefer to buying ticket face to face, I suggest you call the booking office ahead to confirm if they can accommodate you on the current seat sale.

How To Pay for Cebu Pacific Tickets Book Online or via App?
There are various ways to pay for tickets, whether regular or promo rates, whether booked online via website or mobile app, and they are as follows (there can be exceptions, depending on the type of promotion):
- Credit cards and debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, JCB, American Express
- EWallets: Gcash, Maya, Paypal, GrabPay
- Payment Centers within 8 hours of booking, pay in cash: 7 Eleven, EC Pay, Robinsons Bank, Robinsons Department Store, SM Payment Center. Al Ansari Exchange for those in UAE.
- Travel fund: You need to login to your MyCebuPacific Account to use the travel fund to pay for bookings.
However, take note that cash payment via accredited centers are usually NOT accepted on the first day of a MAJOR sale. A piso fare promo 2024 to 2025 is counted as a major sale. It is during this time that a credit card or eWallet comes in handy.
There are also seat sales which are specific to something. Example of this is “VISA only” sale with a matching promo code. In instances like this, the promo rates will only show up on the booking page if you enter the correct Cebu Pacific promo code and will pay for the ticket using the required payment method. In our example, paying using a VISA credit card or debit card.
We are a big group, do we have a chance of securing piso fare or promo tickets?
If you are a big group wanting to book piso fares and promos in one-go, most likely you will fail. This is because the cheapest rates have limited slots on any given flight schedule. But to have a higher chance of getting the best deals, I suggest you limit booking 2 or 3 persons, or max of 4 persons in a single itinerary.
Seat sales are really not favorable to big groups. Sorry :/
Can I skip the add-ons?
I travel on a budget, so usually I skip the add-ons and yes, you may do, too. The following add-ons are optional and there is a way in the Cebu Pacific booking page to remove any add-on – be it prepaid baggage, pre-selected seats, pre-ordered meal, or travel insurance.
For Senior Citizens and Persons with Disabilities (PWDs)
Can you use your Senior Citizen ID or PWD ID and enjoy 20% discount? Yes you may avail the government-mandated discount on regular tickets. BUT if you are already booking promo fares, then the senior or pwd discount will no longer apply.
Anyhow, I hope one or two tips shared here in Penfires are useful for you as you hunt for the best airfare deal on CebPac. Enjoy flying and traveling, here in the Philippines and abroad!
