My Lola Mancia hails from Valencia, Negros Oriental and my Lolo Yul used to boast of going to Valencia to visit my Lola by riding his bike. Yep all those 150 plus kilometers were often conquered by bike pedals. Anyhow I have so much to share about Valencia, Dumaguete and other places in Negros that I don’t know where to start until well I saw the underwater pictures taken in Apo Island. Many trusted diving websites list Apo Island as among the top best diving sites in the Philippines. And Apo … READ MORE...

August 9, 2011 by Cille Anne 43 Comments

***This post is updated today  March 27,2013 to keep this guide current and usable.  This post is in response to the query of Ms Cynthia from my post Tips in Navigating Cebu Jeepneys, I just decided to make this a separate post since I am pretty sure this Cebu guide on transportation is going to be a long post about using public transport like jeepneys to go to Cebu’s popular tourist sites. Her question is how to commute by way of public transport if you are staying in Plantation Bay to … READ MORE...

ngohiong favorite at cheaverz

SM Cebu food court also has some kiosk selling chinese ngohiong. Me and friends have been going to Cheaverz for their ngohiong and pork belly since we discovered it after college graduation when we were already working and have a little extra money to dine out. A lot of stories, memories and celebrations have been shared in … READ MORE...

I was browsing through iStorya a few hours ago and one of the forum topics that caught my attention made me remember my old blog hosted at angelfire circa 2001! Anyhow,  luck of all luck I gained access to my old blog from way back … READ MORE...
